About the Riemblogger
THE RIEMBLOG is a finger on the Zeitgeist, a mixed-metaphor cultural cocktail, a peek at our Weltanschauung. Besides a fondness for German compound nouns, I have a particular interest in technology and communications media as well as education. My training is in education, literature, and the social sciences, and I dabble in politics (though less and less as I grow older), as well as ethics and values issues, and the arts and culture. I am a non-doctrinaire, non-secular humanist.
